Dues to Support the Commitment

Thank you for your support of the American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment. Your contributions support our ongoing efforts to recruit new signatories, provide technical assistance to existing signatories, and otherwise support sustainability efforts in the higher education sector.

Basic Membership Dues (per academic year)

Suggested dues amounts for ACUPCC signatory schools to pay are grouped into seven categories. If you represent a signatory school, please refer to the listing below to determine which group is appropriate for your institution:

  • A: $750 for 2-year institution with less than 5,000 full-time student enrollment
  • B: $1,000 for 2-year institution with 5,000 – 10,000 full-time student enrollment
  • C: $2,000 for 2-year institution with more than 10,000 full-time student enrollment
  • D: $750 for 4-year/graduate institution with less than 1,000 full-time student enrollment
  • E: $1,500 for 4-year/graduate institution with 1,000 – 5,000 full-time student enrollment
  • F: $2,000 for 4-year/graduate institution with 5,000 – 15,000 full-time student enrollment
  • G: $3,000 for 4-year/graduate institution with more than 15,000 full-time student enrollment

Leadership Level Dues (per academic year)

Membership benefits include an array of services and resources for signatories to drastically cut greenhouse gas emissions, prepare students to address severe climate disruption, and demonstrate to all of society how to address climate change. Summa Cum Laude: $15,000

  • Consulting to support your success as a Signatory, from a Second Nature Senior Fellow
  • A campus visit from the President or a Senior Fellow of Second Nature
  • Institution featured in the ACUPCC Annual Report
  • Institution featured in the ACUPCC Implementer newsletter
  • Listing on the ACUPCC website supporters page with a reciprocal link to your website
  • Use of the ACUPCC logo online and in your institution’s literature, in accordance with the ACUPCC logo use guidelines
  • Invitation (free registration) for two representatives to participate in the annual American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment Climate Leadership Summit (October 12-13, 2010 in Denver, CO)

Magna Cum Laude: $5,000

  • Institution featured in the ACUPCC Annual Report
  • Institution featured in the ACUPCC Implementer newsletter
  • Listing on ACUPCC website supporters page with a reciprocal link to your website
  • Use of the ACUPCC logo online and in your institution’s literature, in accordance with the ACUPCC logo use guidelines
  • Invitation (free registration) for one representative to participate in the annual American College & University Presidents’ Climate Commitment Climate Leadership Summit (October 12-13, 2010 in Denver, CO)
