Select Committees

As the need arises, Second Nature convenes select committees to address the challenges and timely topics that ACUPCC signatories encounter in their fulfillment of the commitment. These committees currently include:

Academic Committee

Convened to develop a five-year strategy to integrate a sustainability perspective into the educational experience of all students in all disciplines.

Financing Sustainability Committee

Convened to identify and enhance clean energy incentives and investments specific to the non-profit higher education sector.

Higher Education Climate Adaptation Committee

Convened to evaluate higher education’s role in climate adaptation and to develop and publish a White Paper that identifies the trends, challenges and opportunities associated with this topic.

Higher Education International Committee

Convened to develop a proactive strategy for addressing the international impact of the ACUPCC and evaluate higher education’s role in global climate action.
