How to be an ACUPCC Ambassador :

1. First find out which schools have already signed, by checking the list of signatories by institution.
   
   
2. If the institution(s) you are affiliated with or have some connection to have not yet signed, contact the president(s) or chancellor(s) and encourage them to sign, using the general resources below as well as those tailored for each ambassador group.
   
   
3. If the institution(s) have signed, provide positive feedback (i.e., personally thank the signatory), and/or offer to support the school in implementing the Commitment.
   
   
4. Feel free to customize and personalize any of the templates below to add or expand on points that are particularly relevant to a president or insitution—these personal touches will make your efforts more effective!

• ACUPCC Recruitment Flyer - A 2-sided graphic flyer briefly explaining the commitment and its benefits to hand out at meetings, conferences, and events
  

• Responses to Common Objections to the ACUPCC - A 2-page document outlining common objections to signing the ACUPCC and misconceptions about the ACUPCC, along with brief responses to each.  This document is designed to familiarize ambassadors with some of the push-back they may receive in supporting the ACUPCC. • ACUPCC PowerPoint slide deck templates - A collection of PowerPoint slides that highlight the central aspects of the ACUPCC, and provide the ACUPCC logo and branding for ambassadors to use in support of the ACUPCC
  

• ACUPCC Information Kit: Call for Climate Leadership; Program Overview; Climate neutrality case-study summary document; Commitment document - A 30-page package including the Call for Climate Leadership, which outlines the need for the ACUPCC, the reasons behind it, and why it is beneficial for schools to join
  

• Implementation Guide - A 30-page 'handbook' of the ACUPCC. It provides more detail on the specific obligations in the Commitment, explains technical issues related to implementation, and outlines key policies. It is intended for use at several levels, including presidents and other senior administrators, sustainability committees and directors, and ACUPCC implementation liaisons, etc.
